The Destinations Project is an initiative of the São Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau, and is designed to showcase the best of the city’s most popular districts.

Just as a pizza can be made in a thousand different ways without ever losing its identity, the Destinations Project reflects the need to segment São Paulo, which is still a hard city for outsiders to understand, given its massive size.

The Paulista-Jardins Destination arose through the efforts of the São Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau in conjunction with seven of the region’s luxury hotels: Hotel Emiliano, Fasano Hotel São Paulo, Hotel Intercontinental São Paulo, Porto Bay L'Hotel São Paulo, Maksoud Plaza Hotel, Renaissance São Paulo Hotel and the Tivoli São Paulo - Mofarrej. Development of marketing campaigns and actions to attract a greater number of visitors.

Known as "The Brazilian Wall Street" for its role as a commercial and financial centre, Avenida Paulista is source of pride for Paulista residents. Its very name says it all: it is Paulista. Extending almost three kilometres in length, Avenida Paulista exudes its own special charm, making it one of the city’s most important thoroughfares.

Every day thousands of people travel through this district in a chaotic mass movement of rushing humanity, forming a vast, anonymous crowd that’s a key component of the city’s fascinating urban fabric.

With its superb location and infrastructure facilities, it’s no wonder Jardins-Paulista attracts so many investments. Home to numerous corporate headquarters, banks and luxury hotels, it welcomes thousands of business travellers every day.

To increase the number of visitors to São Paulo and lengthen their stay in the city, the São Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau views the "Destinations Project" as a way to streamline and organize sales and promotion, and to secure and create events. With this vision, the SPCVB is helping design a new organizational structure that results in a well divided city, like in a pizza.

Just like São Paulo, with all its diversity, you can have it whole or sliced the way you like it. São Paulo is All the Best…and so is Paulista-Jardins!
